It’s time to vote for your favorite recipe for the firs month of the Clean Your Plate Challenge hosted here at Nourished Kitchen.   We have some lovely entries for the first month of the challenge, and I definitely found a few kinks to work out as we progress to next month’s challenge.   The goal of the Clean Your Plate Challenge is to encourage creativity in the kitchen – incorporating wholesome, natural foods while highlighting one special ingredient each month.   This month, our special ingredient was honey – delicious, sweet and natural honey.

So, I challenged Nourished Kitchen readers to come up with a wholesome recipe that best highlights real honey.   And you guys came up with some fantastic recipes!   We’ll start the voting today – and encourage your friends and readers to stop by and give your recipe the thumbs up.   The reader who earns the most votes for their wholesome honey recipe wins a 22-oz har of my favorite wildflower honey.

So, on to June’s Clean Your Plate Challenge entries:

So check out the beautiful, natural, wholesome recipes and choose your pick.   Who best exhibited honey while keeping his or her plate clean?   Voting will continue through June 30th, and we’ll announce the winner along with next month’s secret ingredient on July 1st.
