Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh, and I would love the ghee for adding to porridge and for spreading on sourdough muffins and pancakes. It would be like cinnamon toast, but with the added bonus of ginger and cardamom. It would also probably be amazing for searing pork and chicken.
I’ve never used ghee before, but I have a recipe for Naan, and some recipes once the Naan is baked call for ghee, so I’d like to try them ~ and I’d honestly just like to experiment!

This will be yummy over popped corn
I have never used ghee. I’m very excited to use this stuff in the near future. I fry quite a bit of food and would love to try it.
I’ve just found out that I am having celiac’s disease which has caused an auto-immune reaction to dairy, soy, eggs and gluten! I’ve missed yogurt and butter more than anything! Although – I’ve got to admit that coconut oil on rice toast is growing on me!
At any rate – I just found out yesterday that Ghee is lactose and casein free!!! I am beyond excited! I have a jar – and I immediately came home and slathered it all over my steamed broccoli! If I were to win this giveaway – it would be a sure sign from the universe that I’m on the right track! What the heck- I’m going to be eating ghee no matter what!
Thanks for the links to the giveaway! Also – does anyone know the technical difference between ghee and butter oil!? Thanks !
I would use the ghee in making naan and many other indian recipes.

Oh boy, I can hardly wait to try these! I currently use a grassfed butter. I do traditional cooking from around the world, but particularly country French, northern Italian, and various Indian types of cuisines.
My family eats eggs from pastured chickens almost every morning for breakfast. I often top them with some fresh butter (not heating it), or some kind of salsa or other condiment. I am getting hungry thinking about the Provence ghee on these!
Another thing I often do is barely steam fresh vegetables in bone broth, and then top them with a butter in which I’ve briefly sauteed an herb. I can really see using the Italian, Garlic or Provence this way.
I think I will try to come up with a coconut flour cookie using the Dessert Ghee.
And the digestive and Nittar Kibbeh I would probably just eat straight when needed. I already sometimes use turmeric (Haldi) in butter, on the advice of a pharmacist from India who also studied Ayurvedic medicine. It tastes good, so I imagine these blends, made by people who know what they’re doing, will taste terrific.
I signed up for the give away at Pure Indian Foods.

I’m sure stir frying with the Niter Kebbeh flavor would be amazing, can’t wait to try it! Yum!

What would I do with such a staggering amount of Ghee? BEFRORE I win, I’m going to blog about the giveaway at http://timeforhealth.wordpress.com. AT THE MOMENT I win, I’m going to pump my fist in the air and shout, “Thank Goodness for Grassfed Cows and the marvelous Indian Family who make Stunningly Good Ghee!!!” AFTER I win, I’m going to use it in the following ways:
- smother my spinach

- cover my carrots
… and…
massage my feet!

Honestly, though, I think my favorite use of ghee of all time is in delicious whole-grain naan bread. I could eat naan bread every meal, every day of the year *sigh*. My puppy has been known to steal a big tablespoon full of ghee right off the counter… I’m sure he will love the Pure Indian Food flavors too!

Wow ~ that would be like winning pure gold! I have only used plain ghee to saute, to put in my gluten-free rice cereal, and on GF crackers and bread. Would love to become more adventurous with my cooking with ghee!
Forgot to say that those of us who are allergic to casein (and so have gone without butter forever)feel like we are in heaven when we are able to have something like ghee. I’m telling all my GF, CF friends. We all miss “creamy things” and ghee makes a wonderful white sauce to pour over EVERYTHING.

If I win the ghee giveaway, I will be the happiest camper ever. These days, doing the GAPS diet, I am using ghee in basically EVERYTHING I make. I love it especially on poached eggs, or on any vegetable. My dietary satisfaction on GAPS went through the roof after I successfully introduced ghee.
And finally… I signed up online.
Did we really need to leave a separate comment for every entry? Assuming so, I’m done now.
I love to make dosas (soured rice and lentil pancakes), and all the different flavors of ghee would be fun to try! Normally we use vast quantities of coconut oil, a great way to get all your coconut oil in. When we make dosas, the kids eat them faster than I can cook them!
Just entered the giveaway with Pure Indian Foods… Their ghee is amazing!!!!

I would use the garlic flavor on a zucchini pasta casserole!!!!
I did 1, 2,3 and 5!
I want to win because we loooove ghee and often make it from scratch – BUT we don’t always have access to grass fed milk to start with. My husband uses ghee to cook eggs and toast – so simple and so amazingly good!

Oooo – for what would I use the ghee???? Oh, man. I’ve only “made” my own by letting melted butter separate, but I LOVE that on popcorn. Definitely veggies, too. I’d probably use “original” but popcorn would welcome anything, right?
WHAT A TRAT THIS WOULD BE- TO TRY NEW SPICES
My ex-wife learned how to make her own ghee via a Hare Krishna cookbook titled “A Higher Taste”. Through her I’ve become an advocate of India’s cuisine.

I’d use this for saag paneer then I’d branch out. I really need to make my own indian food because – although i love it – the sodium content is too high for me and my heart. I’m too lazy to get the ingredients (and there’s an indian grocer in the area so i can’t pull that stunt) so if i had this stash of ghee, i could make healthier indian food and the others could pour on the salt to their heart’s content (pardon the pun).
I have not used ghee yet, but I would experiment with it by using it when I need to cook with fat and see where it works best.
I signed up for the giveaway.
I haven’t tried these products before but the Digestive ghee flavored by cardamom, cinnamon and ginger sounds like it would be good on toast.
A friend of mine tried to teach me to make my own ghee…but I like this better! I would use it in multiple Indian recipes as well as for roasting chicken and fish!
I would top my wild salmon fillets with regular ghee, sea salt, pepper before baking it. Yum!
I have never even heard of ghee but I am trying to feed my family a healthier diet (and myself). I will read up on ghee now.

I’d love to win this because I would use it to cook with. I usually use organic cultured butter, but i’d rather use ghee, because of my sensitivity to lactose. I’d use it just like I use butter.

I am relatively new to cooking this way, and eager to try ghee, especially for high heat cooking. Those flavors look awesome. I would definitely use it to stir-fry leafy greens.

We use Ghee every day… for eggs, on veggies…yummy!
Entered the giveaway – and I would love to use the ghee for everything from sauteeing veggies, chicken, fish, seafood, rice for Biryani – to making simple egg dishes. I love cooking with ghee – but tend to be too lazy to make it myself! And the flavors – WOW! Thank You – fabulous giveaway!

I’ve never used ghee before. But as a woman trying to learn how to eat only REAL foods, I was very excited about finding this. I was most excited about the Niter Kebbeh ghee. The flavors sound like they would cause a taste explosion on my palette! I think I would toss a bit of this into some Basmati rice to take this sometimes overlooked side dish to a new level!
Garlic Ghee would taste fabulous with some sauteed yellow squash, fresh tomatoes, thinly sliced onions with a little basil and balsamic thrown in. Yum!
I have limited myself to using Ghee when cooking Indian Food — I love homemade Indian Food!
I would love to try the Digestive ghee. I would probably try it spread on a piece of wholegrain toast in place of butter. YUM!
Signed up. I’ve never cooked with ghee but it looks awesome!

I’ve been wanting to try ghee for a while now! I’d use it to fry pretty much everythingg, but I think the flavored kind sounds yummy for veggies
I’ve never used ghee, but have always wanted to. I’m sure I could find some rockin’ recipes!

I love using ghee for sauteeing veggies. When pilafs are made with ghee, the taste is simply phenomenol. If I win Pure Indian Foods ghee, in addition to using it the aforementioned ways, I’ll add a dollop of it to hot steaming rice and eat with Indian dal (lentil stew).

I’d think the digestive ghee on some toast with a drizzle of honey would be fantastic. Plus I’d like to try some good ghee – I bought some recently at a Middle Eastern market near my home and ended up tossing it – it smelled way too funky. I was super disappointed.
I would use the garlic ghee for my fresh summer garden vegetables (yellow squash and zucchini)…i would saute them with some extra fresh garlic and onion and some of my fresh herbs from the garden.

I’m already a fan on Facebook and I just tweeted it. Yay!!
Oh, and I forgot to say that I would love to try any of them, but the one with cinnamon would be divine with my quinoa, millet, oat groat porridge. After I learned more about ghee (no casein) I’ve started using it on anything and everything and have had no ill-effects I experienced with other dairy. I am loving it!!
I would use the ghee to expand my knowledge of nutritional cooking.
I have never used ghee before. My husband and I have been learning to cook and prepare nutritional foods in traditional ways for a few years now and are still learning. Having a great time exploring “new” ways to eat healthy. What a journey!
I’d use it to roast chicken with.
I LOVE Indian food, and have just started learning how to cook a few dishes. I would make chicken tikka masala with the ghee, and learn many more Indian recipes.
Would love to win!
did take out the dairy?
