Ingredients
1 ½cupsstrawberries (hulled and quartered)
1tablespoondried chamomile flowers
6sprigs fresh thyme
3tablespoonsschisandra berries(optional)
1cupapple cider vinegar
1cuprunny honey
Instructions
Preparing the berries and herbs.
Place the strawberries, chamomile, thyme, and schisandra in a quart-sized jar.
Adding vinegar.
Pour in the vinegar, seal the jar with a non-reactive lid, and store it away from direct light and heat for one month. Shake the jar daily.
Finishing the shrub.
After a month, strain the vinegar, discarding the solids. Stir the honey into the infused vinegar. Seal tightly with a non-reactive lid and store in the cupboard away from light and heat for up to 1 year.
