I just love homemade biscuits. They’re a fantastic wake up call for my family.
Looks like a great vegetarian menu plan! I’m going to refer my sister to you, she’s trying to cook more vegetarian meals and is looking for inspiration.
~Happy Week
Yum…I love miso soup!
My toddler even likes it.
Wow, your blog is….amazing! So glad to have found it!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I appreciate them.

To tell the truth, we’re not vegetarian. We usually eat pastured meat once a week and we eat fish once a week too. Much of our vegetable-based meals use rendered fat or bone broth for their nutrients. Still, a lot of my recipes are easily converted to a vegetarian diet and I hope your sister enjoys them.
Jen darling, you and Kevin are great examples of how all of us should live….simply, nutritiously and lovingly. Your blog inspires the world!! Love, your mom
I love, love this blog! You make me want to hole up in my kitchen and bake all day. You’ve inspired me to take a new look at my meals and planning. While we’ve been moving in the direction of a more local and organic diet, I find it cost prohibitive at times. I’m looking forward to seeing how you keep things healthy and on a budget. All the best!
I like your idea of the *to dos* every day. I need to do that!
Thank you! I’ve been trying to balance cooking healthy, time and money. I’ve definitely been spending too much money but hadn’t figured out how to fix it. I’ll be borrowing a lot of your menu for next week.
Hmm, all sounds really healthy and good..do you have your recipe for No Knead Bread on here somewhere…I’d love to check it out!!

I’m hoping to put the no knead bread recipe up this weekend. It’s so easy and it yields beautiful artisan-type breads.
