Unfortunately though we can't make most of these since we're still dealing with serious food reactivity. One day soon, these "allergies" will be a thing of the past. For now we make frozen bars made with dried fruit (figs mostly), soaked, raw seeds, coconut oil, milk and shredded coconut and a little tahini. Serious yum factor and the way we make them they aren't too sweet.

These all sound fantastic with lots of healthy fats for the growing body and brain! My oven has a warm setting that is in the 150F area, but I still prop the door because it surges every now and then, and raw nuts are way to expensive here to ruin.

I have also made a fun concoction, I took sweet potatoes, baked them took the meat out and add some maple syrup, sea salt then added a dollop of whole fat vanilla yogurt (raw of course) and then drizzled pomegranate syrup on top.....now that is something my grandparents would have eaten!

I also love your list! this is great! I had a question about the almonds & figs. Is there a reason you recommend raw almonds instead of crispy almonds? Thanks!!

Jenny,

You ROCK! I thought I would just bake them in a slow oven, kind of cook them and dry them at the same time. ??

I wondered about raw sweet potatoes too. Yogurt, banana, frozen berries, a powdered greens mix, flax seeds, whatever! Mix it all up and enjoy. We also like apples or pears with almond butter - interesting flavor and so satisfying! I'm going to try the frozen bananas with walnuts and coconut and also the sweet potato chips, great ideas! I'm going to post this to my blog too if you don't mind. :)

We almost always have some sort of smoothie in the mornings.
