I love my immersion blender. No, really. I love my immersion blender. You see, broth comprises a huge aspect of our diet and, as a result, so do soups. And the immersion blender makes it so easy to prepare simple pureed soups like curried lentil soup with coconut and I also use it frequently with dishes like apple pear sauce. It’s easy, efficient and streamlined and not nearly as clumsy, clunky or hard to clean as a regular blender (though I have one of those, too.)

My immersion blender is always at the ready. It was the best way to sneak onions and tomatoes into my finicky daughter. When it died, I was so bummed out, my best friend gave me hers because she had never used it. I think she just prefers it when I make the homemade salad dressing!

Have been a vegetarian for over 17 years, recently diagnosed with breast cancer and a friend introduced me to Nourishing Traditions, Weston Price and then I found this site. (Have enjoyed your posts and am learning and willing to make changes to my diet). Having an immersion blender would aid in my self healing. Making soups that I could add bone broth to as to slowly reintroduce animal fats to my diet. What a wonderful tool.

This would be great! I purchased the original model many years ago but last fall I turned it and the motor caught fire. I had an old hand mixer, which I used to smooth my bisque.
