They will never be able to control it - and they don't want to control it. I heard the next step will be to develop crops that will not mature unless they are sprayed with a Monsanto product. When that spreads, it's all over. I used to buy and sell quality grass horse hay into the Santa Fe area. When the alfalfa fields were infested with insects, some of my customers' horses developed sores in their mouths. When they stopped feeding the alfalfa, the sores healed. I believe this was the result of heavy pesticide use. I only bought hay from people with cows. That way as long as the meadows were dragged in the spring, the yield was excellent.I stopped selling hay when the cost of a diesel pickup double to around $45,000. Insanity.

Up to 20% of all alfalfa is lost to the side of the road when it is hauled. Wow! A few months ago my good friend Annie turned me on to the Real/Traditional food movement. I am a foodie at heart so, I found this so exciting and interesting. The more I learn -and there is so very much to learn- the more my mind is blown away!
My turning point was my introduction to raw dairy. Had not had dairy since childhood when my mother found it was making me sick. I can drink and eat raw dairy all day long and feel great. Welcome back to my tummy, stinky cheese!
So, I cleaned out my pantry. YIKES! But it is so pretty w/all the lovely jars of healthy ingredients. I had just gone grocery shopping so the cupboards were already stocked w/wholesome foods.
I don't have a grain grinder or dehydrator and love sourdough so, I decided to sprout some barley and start a sourdough according NT recipe.
The fats I use now are olive oil, flax oil, raw butter (salads, raw items), chicken drippings, bacon fat, & ghee. I was so happy to learn more about these and other yummy fats and to read the article/recipe on rendering lard. I CANNOT wait to try that!
OK...I've written a book here. Sorry for that. Thank you so much to all of you. Reading your comments teach me continually!!
Happy eating!

My Week One Update:<br

A page will open with options to narrow your search. Check the boxes that say "Notices" "Non Rulemaking" and "Open".
