It’s been a year since I enrolled, and it’s one of the best choices I’ve made
Hi, Jenny.  It’s been a year since I enrolled in your class, and I wanted to let you know that it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made.  I still go back and look at the videos, and now I’m making my own recipes based on your worksheets.  I’ve even gotten my kids to love kefir and my husband to love greens. I cannot express how the course has changed my family’s diet and lives …
 I can not begin to express how the course How to Cook Real Food has changed my family’s diet and lives. While pregnant with our first child my husband and I took a Bradley class. Our Bradley instructor
not only discussed natural birth with us, but also began telling us about nutrition and the difference between real food and the standard American diet. What an eye opener!! However everything was SO overwhelming! The moreI learned about what was healthy from my extensive research, the more overwhelmed I became. I needed one place with easy recipes that tasted good that I could turn to for help. When I stumbled across Nourished Kitchen in a link from a local farmer I was hooked. When I found the How to Cook Real Food class it was an answer to prayer.

This is the class that taught me how to feed my family as God designed us to eat. It answered my questions, and gave me a place to start to change. Since then I have taken the Holiday course as well as the fermentation course. Both were excellent. I love how if my life gets crazy I can stop, just do what I need to do to survive and then come back to learn and grow and be stretched. As you have guided us into and through the world of real food (honestly my family finds your recipes more palatable than any other real food blogger we’ve found yet, and more accessible than Nourishing Traditions although as I learn I’m learning to use NT more and more), you have guided us to better health.

My husband has dropped 70 lbs, gotten completely off of his irritable bowel meds and has no symptoms
from them. His bp has lowered drastically and we are hoping that he will soon be able to drop one of the meds or lower a dosage (he was very close, but his bp raised just a little too high at our last no med trial). Our daughter loves to eat healthy foods and is happy, alert, and smart. My brother recently moved in with us to attend a local college & he in his 2 months here has already lost 10 lbs. This all happened while eating delicious food that filled their bodies. We are so thankful that God brought you and your classes our way. Although eating healthier has taken significantly more time and money, we know the alternative would be higher health care costs and much lower standard of living. God definitely used you to change our lives for the better in a significant way! Thank you so much!

There’s so much information in each course that I feel like I can go back and find something new every time.
Are you ready for the ONE BIG THING (of course there were many other big and little things, but I feel the need to share the biggest one)???
Here it is:  It introduced me to gratins.  Oh my.  My, my, my.  I’d never had a gratin in my life at the time, and the first time I made one I couldn’t believe what I had been missing!!!!  Soooooo delicious!   It quickly became our side dish of choice over the winter.  I love how flexible your tutorial was – it allowed me to play around with what I had on hand and make a delicious, comforting side.
I’ve since taken several of your courses and enjoyed them all.  There’s so much information in each course that I feel like I can go back to the lessons and find something new every time.

 We’re saving money … and we’re healthier too …
 I have learned so much from your class.  The whole real food thing is new to me, and when I first looked at Nourishing Traditions, I was totally overwhelmed.  It seemed so complicated, but after taking your class I’ve been able to really work on the techniques you present like soaking and slow roasting, and dinner has been amazing.  We’re saving money because I’m not spending on so much boxed stuff and we’re healthier, too.  And even my mother-in-law had good things to say about my cooking (A FIRST!!) So thank you!
