Anita -

Thanks for your comment. It's always refreshing to hear from someone with such a unique perspective. The Nourished Kitchen does, indeed, have a goal and that is to promote health and wellness through traditional whole foods. High fructose corn syrup doesn't make the grade. The Corn Refiners Association has millions of dollars to promote their product; however, that promotion does not need to take place on my website. My purpose isn't to "protect" you; rather, it is to continue meeting the goal I set when I began Nourished Kitchen. If you would like read differing perspectives, I'd recommend a google search or you can continue to slurp mercury-laced soda pop while watching Sweet Surprise commercials on TV.

Take Care of yourself -

My how scared you are of anyone with a differing opinion on HFCS! You lambast them for having an agenda, yet it is perfectly clear that you have one as well. I see nothing wrong with both sides of a discussion being allowed to share their information so that the people whom it affects are able to form their own opinions. You do not need to "protect" us from hearing what the other side has to say.

"It's ok in moderation" but it's in almost EVERYTHING. Hard to get moderation when that's the situation.

I swear they are paying someone to read and respond to blogs all day. It's scary how they are trying to manage people's perceptions about hfcs.

FYI - Hubby got this at his *work* email somehow - it's a government email address, so your guess is as good as mine. Also, in case you didn't suspect, it might possibly be a teeeeny weeny bit though. Just a tad.

Actually, you could allow them to comment, and then use their comment as a sounding board to disagree with their statements. Instant controversy!
